M&M's is the world famous candy that has been around since 1941 in America. This candy has been named after Mr. Mars and Mr. Murrie. These are button shaped candies with a letter "m" printed in white on one of the sides of each candy. The candy has a hard shell on the outside with a softer filling on the inside.
The filling include dark chocolate, milk chocolate, rice crispy, peanuts, mint chocolate, almonds, coconut, orange chocolate, pretzel, peanut butter and wild cherry. Since the launch of this candy in 1941 up to now, m&m's have now found their way into 100 countries worldwide.
Here are some of the m&m's variety with a short description:
Milk Chocolate: This comes in a dark brown wrapper, with candy colors of red, orange, yellow, green, blue and brown. The filling inside the hard candy shell is pure milk chocolate.
Peanut: This comes in a yellow wrapper, with candy colors of red, yellow green, blue, orange and brown. The filling inside the shell are peanuts with chocolate. m&m's as a company insist that peanuts are legumes and not nuts. The candies are individually a little oval in shape.
Dark Chocolate: This is what people have been asking m&m's for a quite some time now. The wrapper is patterned purple with the usual colors of candy. The filling however is dark chocolate.
Dark Chocolate Peanut: The wrapper is yellow and patterned purple; the candies are the usual color and are a little oval in shape. The filling inside is dark chocolate with peanuts.
Almonds: The wrapper is beige in color, with the candies the usual color and they are again a little oval. The filling in the shell is freshly roasted almond with chocolate.
Peanut butter: It has an orange patterned wrapper, with circular candies the usual color. The filling is chocolate with peanut butter.
Pretzel: This comes in a blue wrapper. The candy does not come in all six colors as yellow is absent. The filling inside is chocolate with the mini pretzel inside.
Premium: There are two varieties of premium m&m's candy available. The Chocolate Trio, which has a filling mixture of dark, white and milk chocolate and Mint Thrills, which is a white chocolate infused with mint and covered with dark chocolate. The former comes in a maroon and purple wrapper and the later in a green wrapper.
